This year, the Jeep Compass will come equipped with one powertrain option; a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine that produces 200 horsepower and is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel-drive is now standard, although the most rugged Trailhawk trim will come equipped with the advanced Active Drive Low, capable of performing a 20:1 crawl ratio. The Active all-wheel-drive will also come with Selec-Terrain modes for snow, mud, and sand.
